The Transfusion Practitioners Day

The Transfusion Practitioners day is to be held on Saturday 4^th November 2023 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The day is targeted at all Transfusion Practitioners (nurses and scientists) at all stages of their career. We aim to provide tangible tips for attendees to take and use in their practice.

The theme of the day is ‘collaboration’ and this year we are lucky to have a programme full of stellar interdisciplinary speakers.

Topics include:

The un-transfusable patient – perspectives from patient blood management, laboratory scientist and reference laboratory
Management of Critical Bleeding – panel discussion with perspectives from New Zealand, Rural Australia and useful tools for clinicians

Masterclasses are back by popular demand. We have amazing practical take home tips from some of the leaders in transfusion.
